| Vasa Vučković |
Vasa Vuckovic was born in Novi Sad in 1985. He started playing the clarinet at the age of eight, and in 1997 he entered a contest and won an award. He finished "Isidor Bajic" music high school in Novi Sad in the class of professor Zeljko Bodor. During his education he won awards in republic and open competitions. He attended seminars under the world's most famous clarinetists (Michel Arrignon, Mate Bekavac, Joze Kotar). He is currently a student at the Academy of Art in Novi Sad in the class of professor Nikola Srdic. He has performed as a soloist at the "Svetozar Markovic" Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD) in Novi Sad and is a member of the higher ensemble with which he has played in countries of the ex-Yugoslav Republic, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany etc. He has also taken part in prestigious festivals in Europe where, along with the best reviews, performed authentic, traditional music from these areas. He has been a member of the ROGALJ Folk Orchestra since 2006. He is a soloist of the orchestra and has already had many well-attended performances. |
