Miroslav Tubić Miroslav Tubić

Miroslav Tubic was born in Novi Sad in 1977. He graduated the double bass at the Academy of Art in Novi Sad in the class of professor Nebojsa Ignjatovic. He received advanced training from professors Klaus Trumf and Boza Paradzik (Germany), Zoran Markovic (Slovenia), and worked with professor Srdjan Stosic (Serbia). He plays in the Vojvodinian Symphony, the Novi Sad Brass Orchestra and the Serbian National Theatre Opera Orchestra in Novi Sad.

He has held a large number of concerts in and out of the country in different ensembles, and as a guest entertained at festivals where he proved to be equally as good at playing classical, jazz and traditional Serbian music, achieving excellent results. He has given his artistic contribution as a contrabassist to many music projects, and has featured on many of his colleagues' albums.

He has been involved in folk music since his childhood, being a member of different cultural-artistic societies in Novi Sad and the surrounding area.

He has played in the ROGALJ Folk Orchestra since its beginning.
