Milan Minić Milan Minić

Milan Minic was born in Belgrade in 1981, begining his music education when he was seven. He finished "Mokranjac" lower and higher music school in Belgrade, with vocal-instrumental being his focus. He is currently an advanced university student of the Academy of Art in Novi Sad, his major being the violin, in the class of professor Florijan Balaz.

When he was just ten, he began to cherish traditional folk music as a member of several orchestras with folklore ensembles. With them he travelled to many countries around the world. While in high school he began to widen his interest towards artistic music, where with a small string orchestra he took part in festivals and contests all around Serbia.

He performs in the Misa Mijatovic Folk Orchestra, backing up eminent performers of Serbian folk music. Right from the very beginning, Milan has been a soloist and member of the ROGALJ Folk orchestra of Novi Sad.
