| Jelena Ergelašev Tubić |
Jelena Ergelasev Tubic was born in 1978 in Sremska Mitrovica. Her interest in music began when she was ten, when she enrolled in lower music school "Isidor Bajic" in Novi Sad, deciding to study the cello. After finishing lower and higher music school, she successfully completed her studies at the Academy of Art in Novi Sad, where she acquired her title - graduate cellist, in the class of professor Dejan Bozic. During the course of her schooling, she won awards at many contests as a soloist and as a member of different ensembles. She received advanced training from leading educators in the form of masterclasses, thus acquiring her title from professors A. Baillie, E. Ksaveryev, I. Kalman, I. Varga, M. Kope, S. Apolin, K. Benda and D. Grigorian. She has been a full-time member of the Vojvodjanski Simfonicari Symphony Orchestra for five seasons. As well as studying at the Academy of Art, she also graduated from the Teaching Faculty in Sombor, and is finishing her Master of Arts studies at the Faculty of Management in Novi Sad.
She became involved with folk music in primary school as a member of the folklore section in the "Svetozar Markovic" Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD), and at the same time was a member of the national orchestra. She has been a member of the ROGALJ Folk Orchestra from its very beginning, and as a part of its organization, contributes to the better work of the orchestra. |
